Reading this site

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process request information, including IP addresses, to serve and protect the website. See GitHub's privacy statement. Fonts and the portrait are served with the website, not requested from Google Fonts.

Analytics & advertising

Google Analytics 4, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Meta Pixel load by default on the live website. They can use cookies and process page visits, device and browser information, and network identifiers to measure traffic, understand campaigns and support advertising audiences. See Google's privacy policy, LinkedIn's privacy policy and Meta's privacy policy.

Visits to the guides' signup and confirmation pages are measured as page visits, not proof that an email was confirmed. Guide download choices and booking-link clicks are measured to understand what readers find useful, not to verify downloads, bookings or payments. Site code does not send your signup email address to these tags.

Your choice is stored on this browser and applies on subsequent page loads. Disabling tracking stops these tags from loading; it does not delete information already sent or cookies already set. You can remove existing cookies in your browser settings. Kit, hosting and external booking providers are separate from this preference.

The guides and monthly letter

If you request either free guide, your email address is submitted to the same Kit form to handle confirmation and delivery, and to send Practical AI, my monthly letter with a business section and a section for individuals. No separate audience tag is applied by this website. The signup page states this before you submit.

Kit's form script loads on pages with an inline signup. It can process technical request and form-interaction information. See Kit's privacy policy. A guide confirmation or delivery message is additional to the monthly letter.

You can unsubscribe using the link in an email, or contact me for help. I keep subscriber information while you remain subscribed or as needed to handle your request and meet applicable obligations. You can ask to access, correct or delete your information by email; necessary records may be retained where required.

Bookings and paid sessions

Booking links take you to Cal.com or Topmate. Those providers handle the information you submit, scheduling and any payment. This website does not collect payment card details. Check Cal.com's privacy policy and Topmate's privacy policy before booking.

Email and confidential information

If you email me, I use your message to respond and manage the conversation. Please don't send private client data, credentials or sensitive materials in an initial enquiry.

Changes

This notice will be updated if the website changes how it uses personal information.
